No Longer Desperate... / Monday 16 April 2007

Just when I thought Desperate Housewives was getting stale, old, unoriginal and horribly unrealistic, it had to surprise me today!

I think all the Lynette Scavo episodes are the good ones.

And. All the Susan Mayer episodes are the really really really baaaaad ones.

Looks like the expiry date of this show got pushed back a few more episodes.

Oh well. Looks like my monday nights are now booked too.

Crap.

Just when I thought I could turn in earlier. Oh well. A good show IS a good show, and I'm a sucker for good shows.

Breaking The Bank / Sunday 15 April 2007

So! I had my interview. Looking the part of an eager-tertiary-student-to-be is NOT easy! I probably blew an entire month's pay on buying office wear essentials (read: presentable, schmoozing clothes)! And! As a result, i have not updated my bank book. The horrors of finding out the actual balance left is simply too... horrifying. ARGH! the perils of having an ATM card! This wouldn't have bugged me as much if i didn't ALSO buy a PSP, the requisite entertainment system for the people-in-green. So! I probably blew away my 2 months pay! Can you say Gone With The Wind?

Sigh.

Anyway! My interview went Okaaay la. What's terrible about the interview was the waiting process! And i don't mean the nervous-bite-your-nails-kind-of-waiting. The minute i stepped into the holding area, all EYES were on me. The pressure was INTENSE. It's as if everybody there had this internal THREAT-O-METER in their bodies to evaluate and size up the competition. If you happen to register on the...

BZZT...MAJOR THREAT!!! BZZT... INITIALISING ELIMINATION PROCEDURE!!!

scale of the THREAT-O-METER. The EOD (Eyes Of Death) will start coming out. I swear. If this was the X-men universe, Cyclops would find his "eye power" to be severely outmatched.

Oh well. I guess that's law people for you.

No wonder everybody hates them... Err... Me?

Crap.

On a side note: I hate the cheena-piang people at suitespeech (you go figure it out!)! The china women there were talking bad about Singaporeans IN FRONT of an entire Singaporean queue!!! Can you say CASE? BAH!

Fishy Business - The Saga Continues... / Tuesday 10 April 2007

MODELS DIE BEFORE EMBARKING ON SLIMMING DEAL

SINGAPORE, April 10 (YOUTERS) - The soon-to-be-but-never-will-be slimming models previously mentioned here, were found dead on the 8th of April 2007. Out of the four potential models of the new "FAT BUSTER!" programme offered by the now media-shy slimming chain, one survived. The surviving model, Ms. Jin Yu, is in critical condition.

The mysterious circumstances surrounding the deaths have led many to speculate on the cause of death.
Mdm. Sue Kia, a close friend of the 3 deceased models, told reporters that she believed the 3 models died from ESF, Exploding Stomach caused by Fats, a relatively new medical condition.

A police spokesman, Mr. Law
Soh, was approached for comments. Explaining that the case was "still under investigation", he said that details of the 3 model deaths have to be "kept under wraps" for "investigation purposes". However, inside sources tell us that homicide is suspected.

Grieving relatives, smelling vaguely of fish, were seen responding to the news of the deaths in a rather "un-blinking" manner. Rumour mills are rife that the father was responsible. The family could not be reached for comment.

Chronological Conundrums / Friday 6 April 2007

There! I've changed my clock! Isn't it much nicer now? It even tells time accurately now! The "one-hour-ahead-of-actual-time-thingy" was seriously aggravating me.

Father Time should
ONLY run faster (Kinda hard cos' if you think about it Father Time IS rather kind of old) when one is at work. Not when people are viewing my Oh-So-Interesting blog. Haha!

On a side note! Time really does run fast these days! Was it really a year ago when i just came out from the terror of THE BLOCK TESTS? Those days now seem so far and distant.

Oh well! On to the future! My SMU interview for the Faculty of Law is scheduled for next friday!

Friday... The thirteenth.

Crap.

I accidentally stepped on a snail when i was at work. I hope Karma doesn't rear it's ugly head on friday.

That would suck BIG TIME.
